City of New Westminster \u2013 Planning and Social Planning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The City of New Westminster, through its Planning and Social Planning Department, plays a key leadership role in building an inclusive, connected, and resilient community. Operating under municipal government, the department works on long-term planning, social policy, and community development to respond to the needs of residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City has been a central partner in many local initiatives that support inclusion and belonging. It\u00a0chairs the WINS Local Immigration Partnership (WINS LIP)<\/strong>, bringing together organizations, institutions, and community members to improve coordination, reduce barriers, and support newcomer integration in New Westminster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
